The whole social media has caught fire once again as popular media mogul Linda ikeji revealed who her baby daddy is. ‘Jeremi Sholaye’.

Nigerians took to all social media to express their anger because, according to them, Linda has used her blog to troll many who have fallen baby mama victim before.

while a lot of Nigerians where trolling her, some still believe that her story is a lesson for all.

 Although she gave a detailed account of what happened, Nigerians still believe her version is a one sided story while hoping that Jeremi Sholaye will reply with his own side of the story.

Ugandan Healthcare Startup, MScan, Wins Techcrunch Startup battlefield 2018

The most anticipated Techcrunch Battlefield Competition took place during the week.

The event took place at at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. A total of 15 startups competed for the prize. They pitched to a live audience of over 500 people ranging from VCs, investors, media, government officials, developers and other startups.

After presentations by the 15 startups, Ugandan startup, MSCAN carted away the grand prize of $25000 equity-free funding.

They developed portable and affordable mobile ultrasound devices (Ultrasonic probes) that can work on laptops, tablets and mobile phones with 95% accuracy. This is useful in Africa where the mortality rate of pregnant mothers due to complications during pregnancy is very high.

NYSC Cancels Nigerian Popular Artist Davido’s Youth Service

When Davido commenced his youth service a lot of Nigerians doubted his willingness to complete it. Well it seems they were right as Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known has Davido, revealed on social media that his compulsory one year service which he started some months ago has been cancelled by NYSC.

Nigerians took to social media to commend his dismissal insisting it was right as he violated lots of NYSC rules.


This may be related to his refusal to observe the mandatory 3 weeks orientation in the camp. 

UniLag Hosts First-Ever Robotics Competition

During the week, The University of Lagos (UNILAG) held its first ever robotics competition themed, Maze Quest.

It is a really good initiative as Government have started plans of adding robotics to school curriculum .

Open to teams of developers, the competition allowed students of the institution showcase their robotics design and development skills. 

At the end three teams emerged on top. Team Overrides, Team Joda and Team Autodroid finished first, second and third respectfully. Congratulations to them all.

We hope to see other schools emulating this initiative even before Government adds it to sch curriculum in order to enhance the schools with the knowledge of technology.
