Apollo Agriculture of Kenya kicked off the pitching session at TechCrunch Battlefield Africa with an exhilarating presentation.
They were followed by SudPay, a Senegalese Fintech Startup that caters to taxpayers and other financial services.
LabTech Engineering Solutions from Uganda mounted the podium next and tried to wow the judges with their solutions.
Complete Farmer, a startup that provides Agribusiness solutions to Ghanaian farmers was up next on the podium as they tried to demonstrate their disruptive capacity.
There was also a Panel on Expats, Repats and Africans led by Mall of Africa’s Kwame Acheampong. Other panellists include Eleni Gabre-Madhin of BlueMoon and Lexi Novitske of Singularity Investments.
Then there was a keynote address by Konstantinos Papamiltiadis, Facebook Director of Platform Partnerships.
