Hi guys, today is International Youth Day! To celebrate the day with the many strong and hardworking Nigerian youths, we have curated a list of 5 Top Nigerian Entrepreneurs under the age of 35.

The selection was based on the traction their companies have had and nominations for awards like Forbes Entrepreneur list, the Future Awards Prize for Africa among others.

Nigeria boasts of one of the world’s largest pools of brilliant and successful young entrepreneurs so there are so many more top entrepreneurs that we cannot mention all. However, here are 5 of our top picks.

Temie Giwa-Tubosun – CEO LifeBank (34)

Temie Giwa-Tubosun is the founder of LifeBank, a business enterprise which enables timely delivery of blood to hospitals and patients who need it.

For her efforts towards saving lives, Temie has won several awards including MIT Solve Global Challenge in health category. She is also into on-demand delivery of oxygen monitoring equipment.

Yele Bademosi, Founder of Microtraction and Bundle Africa (29)

Yele Bademosi, is the founder of Microtraction and Director at Binance Labs. He is serial investor and tech entrepreneur that has helped launched quite a number of startups in the country.

Odunayo Eweniyi, Co-founder PiggyVest (26)

Odunayo Eweniyi, is the a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of PiggyVest. Over the years, Odunayo has been at forefront of ensuring best practices and quality products for users of PiggyVest growing the startup to saved over N7 billion and holds over N3.6 billion assets. 

She has been recognized as the 2019 SME Entrepreneur of the Year at the Wealth and Society West Africa Award. Odunayo has also been voted one of the Top 100 Inspirational Women in Nigeria and named one of the top 20 young wealth creators in Africa by Forbes Africa.

Ezra Olubi, Co-founder Paystack (34)

Ezra Olubi is the co-founder and CTO of Paystack, an online payment gateway that makes it easy for merchants to accept credit and debit card payments online from customers.

Ezra’s entrepreneurial exploits in the fintech space has helped Paystack become one of the top online transaction platforms in the country. He has also been recognised as Rise Network Youth of the Week

Iyinoluwa Aboyeji – Founder Flutterwave & Co-founder of Andela (29)

Iyinoluwa Samuel Aboyeji is the co-founder of Andela, Africa’s largest engineering organization with over 1,000 software engineers. He’s also the founder of Flutterwave, a business building payments technology and infrastructure.

Iyin was nominated for the Future Awards Africa Prize for Young Person from Nigeria. He currently heads Fund for Africa’s Future where he helps founders, philanthropists and investors from around the world understand how to do build fast growing and impactful technology businesses in Africa.
