Built to Last in Africa – Real time Collaboration and Partnership

Organised by Ingressive and Rising Tide Africa in collaboration with Pedabo, Netcom Africa, Cr8 Careers, Wild Fusion and Olisa Agbakoba Legal (OAL), the event is a new concept on collaboration and partnerships.

Attendees will join a candid discussion on what collaboration looks like between corporates in the areas of regulation/compliance, taxes, human resources, ICT solutions and more. So if you are looking to seal actual partnerships and collaborations with businesses, this is a good event for you.

African Fintech Ecosystems Symposium

Open to Fintech startups and industry stakeholders, the African Fintech Ecosystems Symposium is geared towards coming together to have engaging discussions.

This provides an opportunity for startups to meet and interact with industry stakeholders as well as seek support. So if you are fintech player or want to know more about how the industry works, this one is for you.

OpenStack 9th Global Celebration/Chapter Launch

OpenStack is having its 9th Global Celebration, and this event is to celebrate that and it’s open to OpenStack Ghana Users. But in addition to the celebration, the launch of a chapter in Benin will also take place.

Digital Transformation Congress 2019

Women in Blockchain and AI

United Africa Blockchain Association (UABA) is launching its first-ever event. Tagged “Women in Blockchain and A.I”, the event will also incorporate the launch of UABA.

Venue: The Business Exchange Morningside, Sandton, South Africa.

Date: Friday, 2 August 2019.

Time: 8 am.

Open Hack Week Grand Finale

Open Hack Week is a weeklong hackathon aimed at building actual solutions to solve different organisational problems. NGOs, Startups and Tech companies all come together in teams to find solutions to real-life problems.

Now on its final day, participants who have successfully completed the challenge will pitch and showcase their solutions to the sponsors. A career fair will also be held. So if you are a developer looking to intern or a company looking to get good developers, this might be a good place to start.

Venue: Julius Berger Hall, University of Lagos, Yaba.

Date: Saturday, 3 August 2019.
