On Thursday, the Institute of Enterprise Management and Analytics will be hosting digital transformation experts, business leaders and global disruptor at the Lagos 2021 DX Summit.

The event will provide African businesses with the opportunity to leverage digital transformation initiatives and solutions to position their businesses for global competitive advantage.

The summit includes case study presentations, breakout sessions, panel discussions and technical workshops focused on key strategies, technology and solutions for developing and reaching targeted DX goals.

Future of Banking in the African Continent

This week, Stanford Business and Africa Business School will be hosting an event on the future of banking in Africa.

The webinar will include a panel discussion where experts will answer questions like who will win the race to bank the 350 million unbanked adults in Africa?

Other questions to be considered are what cross-border opportunities and risks will the now operationalized AfCFTA create for banks and fintech companies on the continent? And what’s keeping regulators awake as digital banks and digital currencies enter the market?

The members of the panel include Kenya’s Central Bank Governor, Patrick Njoroge, Carbon’s co-founder and CEO, Chijioke Dozie, and Discovery Bank CEO, Hylton Kallner.

The Economist Group 8th Annual World Ocean Summit

This week, The Economist Group will host its annual World Ocean Summit themed: Accelerating s Sustainable Ocean Economy virtually.
