FITC Tech Summit

On Friday, the Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC) will host a Technology Summit themed: 2021 Hacking Prediction and Prevention: Security Strategies To Enable The Remote Workforce.

The event will focus on the hacking prediction & prevention for 2021, the cybersecurity implications of working remotely, and 2021 Data Security trends.

It will also look at the fastest-growing cybersecurity skills to learn, Al and Cybersecurity, the role of artificial intelligence in data breach prevention and Enterprise Risk Management.

Startup Funding Webinar

This week, FinTech Nigeria will be holding the Startup Funding Webinar where innovators get to meet investors.

During the webinar, entrepreneurs and startup founders will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to potential investors. They will also learn how to execute their ideas and connect with investors

Asia Trade Week 2021

On Monday, The Economist’s Asia Trade Week 2021 themed; Reviving trade; a way forward, will kickoff.

The conference will bring together business leaders, trade negotiators, policymakers, academics and economists for a week of rigorous discussion and debate on the most important issues surrounding trade and Asian business.

They will also take stock of what happened in 2020, scrutinise the changing patterns of global trade and look at the trade community through a critical lens.

The event will include a series of online discussions as well as physical and in-person events from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai.

Data Visualization with Microsoft Power BI

On Saturday, Data Science Nigeria will be organizing a Professional hands-on training on Data Visualization with Microsoft PowerBI Masterclass.

The training will include a practical approach to learning the theories and techniques of creating data visualizations that are compelling, accurate, tell a story and provide answers to your business questions using Microsoft PowerBI.

Lagos Business School Webinar

On Monday, the Lagos Business School, Nigeria, and Dvara Research, India will be hosting a webinar on Supporting the Payment Service Bank (PSB) Regime in Nigeria.

The UK-Nigeria Tech Hub will be hosting its first virtual UK-Nigeria Tech Summit to celebrate its one year anniversary.

The summit will highlight and explore the blossoming opportunities across the UK and Nigerian tech ecosystem. This will include ecosystem support, early-stage investment, opportunities for female founders in the ecosystem as well as amplify the stories of Nigerian Tech Entrepreneurs.

There will also be keynote addresses, moderated conversations and panel discussions focusing on the stories of Nigerian Entrepreneurs who are building the future in Africa and having an impact on society.
