“Looked at from a certain perspective, the people who make it into the Digital Explorers programme are effectively being paid to learn and acquire world class skills,” Kola Aina said.

Digital Explorers is collaborating with Data Science Nigeria (DSN) to select Nigerian female Data Analysts/Scientists from its 2020 Virtual Bootcamp which will kick off on 20th October 2020.

Digital Explorers’ ICT Project in Nigeria

Launched in 2019, Digital Explorers offered to grant up to 50 Nigerian ICT talents a 1-year paid internship opportunity in leading local ICT companies in Lithuania.

However, only 15 Nigerian ICT talents were selected from a pool of 1,400 young talents to join 6 leading Lithuanian ICT companies. According to Digital Explorers, the tech talents chosen had a chance to work on complex projects involving high-end bespoke solutions, big data, automation systems and other advanced technologies.
