While TV shows set in the modern-day are lots of fun, watching a movie set in another age and time has a whole different kind of fun. The newness and alien-ness of old cultures and tradition give us a glimpse into what it felt to live at that time in a dramatic way.
Like GOT, historic shows can be fictitious or based on the life of a real person. There are so many historically shows and can be hassle to find one that holds a candle to the intrigues of GOT.
