With his years of experience spanning digital marketing, program management, and corporate sales, Taslim upon resuming his role at Google ,would be in charge of informing customers, partners, and market influencers in Sub Saharan Africa of Google’s great products.

He is also a Certified Digital Strategist & Marketer. Taslim has a pretty adventurous work history in the digital marketing world, starting out with a digital marketing internship at Hotels.ng in 2015. During his two months there, Taslim oversaw search and display as well as adverts to acquire new customers and retain existing ones.

He also worked as an Industry Analyst at Google Nigeria in 2016. He was part of a team involved in sales management as well as helping clients build and manage the implementation of digital strategies focusing on their mobile and pay-per-click marketing. He has also worked as Program Assistant, Android Learning Community, Andela, in 2017 where he was involved in coordinating offline meet-ups of hundreds of Android development learners in 5 southwestern states.

He then returned to work for Google, this time on a broader plane, serving as Project Consultant for Google, Sub-Saharan Africa, between July 2017 and March 2018. He moved up the ladder in April to become Program Associate for Google Impact Challenge, Sub-Saharan Africa until his latest appointment as Google’s Sub Saharan Product Marketing Manager.

Asides working for different firms, Taslim has also tried his hands at entrepreneurship. In 2015, he started his first marketing/advertising agency, Hexatide Agency, which didn’t quite fly, running for only 4 months; between December 2015 and March 2016. In 2016, he kick started another startup called ByteMars, a talent-focused digital consultancy that helps people learn digital marketing. He served as lead trainer at the startup until April 2018.

His new appointment at Google is an impressive step up the ladder and we wish him all the best.
