FC Barcelona partners with European crypto exchange, WhiteBIT

FC Barcelona has announced that it has reached an international collaboration deal with WhiteBit, a significant cryptocurrency exchange in Europe. WhiteBIT becomes the Official Cryptocurrency Exchange partner of FC Barcelona for three seasons up to June 30, 2025

The La Liga giants have secured more international partnerships in recent months, and the latest collaboration with the crypto firm is part of the plan to improve the Club’s finances. Earlier this year, FC Barcelona finalized a partnership deal with Spotify, the popular music platform.

WhiteBIT is a popular European cryptocurrency exchange offering a secure and understandable model that ensures customers buy, sell, and trade digital assets without discomfort or distress.

The intention of WhitBIT is to improve the interface governing selling, purchasing, and trading digital tokens. It intends to create a straightforward, accessible, top-tier utility for crypto traders. In addition, WhitBIT is intentional about encouraging customers to make sound trading decisions.

Details of FC Barcelona’s deal with WhiteBIT 

The agreement ensures that WhiteBit becomes Barcelona’s official digital currency partner. This grants WhiteBIT the approval to provide its utilities and mastery to the Club’s fans and the crypto-international society.

In addition, FC Barcelona fans can access digital tokens linked with the Club, ensuring that they can buy and sell these tokens directly from the WhiteBit interface.

Within the framework of this partnership, FC Barcelona and WhiteBIT plan to implement a range of joint online and offline activities to bring together the crypto industry and professional sports to offer a 100% Barça experience to their fans worldwide. The platform will obtain rights of association with the men’s and women’s football first teams and the basketball, handball, roller hockey and futsal teams.

The actions planned for this new partnership include creating digital content to raise awareness about both entities among the general public and to generate higher engagement with Barça fans, as well as the platform featuring on the Spotify Camp Nou LED screens during match days.

Furthermore, WhiteBIT will collaborate with the FC Barcelona eSports team via backdrops during live competitions and with pre and post-game content. They will also collaborate as a partner for the innovation and knowledge platform, Barça Innovation Hub, during the annual “Sports Tomorrow Congress”, which forms part of the Mobile World Congress this year.
