Chrisland school drama

The social space practically blew up following a shocking tweet by Ubi Franklin. He tweeted that he had gotten off the phone with a friend whose daughter (who he claimed was 10) was selected to represent her school, Chrisland, at the World School Games in Dubai.

Franklin revealed that the girl was raped by fellow students, the video was taped and posted online, and the school concealed it for a month. He shared that the school expelled the four boys involved in the abuse and took the girl for a pregnancy test without her parent’s knowledge and consent.

The video of the alleged act has since gone viral on all social media platforms with some blaming the school for negligence in watching a minor that was left in their care, while some blamed it on bad parenting.

Rita Dominic’s wedding carnival, the #ReelDeel

Nollywood star, Rita Dominic held her traditional wedding with her now hubby, Fidelis Anosike. The traditional wedding took place in Dominic’s home state, Imo, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Even though the wedding was held on a Tuesday, the turn up was massive as several of her Nollywood colleagues turned up in Owerri. And, from the videos and pictures from the wedding flying all over the internet, the wedding was a carnival. 

Chidi Mokeme also caught some stray bullet in a good way, as some ladies who had crushes on him from way back gushed over how ageless and hot he still looked at 50+.

APC nomination form 

The national ruling political party, APC, during the week, released the amount for the nomination form for different positions ranging from the state house of assembly up to the presidential form. This announcement has been followed by a trail of condemnation by Nigerian citizens calling the amount outrageous, especially in the face of the country’s economic woes.

Maraji welcomes baby 

Popular female comedian and content creator, Gloria Oloruntobi popularly known as ‘Maraji’ has welcomed a baby boy with her husband. The skit maker made this announcement on her Instagram page on Thursday. Maraji also announced the name of her first child as Jayden Mensah. 

Dr Chinelo laid to rest

The funeral of Chinelo Megafu, the medical doctor who was killed during the Abuja – Kaduna train attack held during the week.

Dr Chinelo was one of the people who was killed during the attack and had called attention to the fact that she was shot on Twitter.

But, she did not survive the gunshot.
