Techpoint Build, Technext Coinference and the biggest tech events to watch out for in 2022

Techpoint Build

Techpoint Build has been hosted for four years in a row, with over 5,000 people attending each event since it started in 2017. 

Techpoint Africa’s largest conference, Techpoint Build, aims to connect important actors in the African startup sector. The 2022 edition is expected to be the most thrilling ever. 

The Techpoint Build 2022 theme is about establishing real frontiers for African tech growth and preparing ourselves to take advantage of opportunities across industries. 

Techpoint Build will, as is customary, stimulate dialogues across a variety of industries, including music, health, edtech, fintech, and others. 

Many of today’s most popular products and services are the result of the innovation process, including app-ordered food delivery services, video streaming platforms, Amazon’s two-day shipping features, and so much more. 

The Techpoint Build will be open to the public and will include both real and virtual components. There is something for everyone, regardless of industry.

Africa Tech summit Nairobi 2022

The Africa Tech Summit Nairobi, which will take place in February, is planned to bring together African and worldwide tech experts under one roof. 

The event will also provide networking opportunities with important stakeholders driving business and investment ahead, including tech corporations, mobile carriers, fintechs, DeFi & crypto enterprises, investors, top start-ups, regulators, and industry stakeholders. 

Following successful summits in Rwanda and Kenya, the fourth edition will be held in Nairobi, Kenya in 2022, bringing together tech leaders such as Microsoft and Facebook, as well as international partners such as the International Finance Corporation, the London Stock Exchange, and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.

Technext Coinference 

As the conversation around cryptocurrencies spreads and touches every corner of the globe, technext aspires to be a leader in this movement.

AfricaTech Festival

The Africa Tech Festival is one of the year’s main tech events in Sub-Saharan Africa and hence a possible barometer of COVID recovery. If you had to attend only one international tech convention in Sub-Saharan Africa for a few years, it was AfricaCom. 

Now that AfricaCom and AfricaTech have merged to form the AfricaTech Festival, the event’s standing has been enhanced, with organizers claiming that 90% of booths on the exhibit floor have already been reserved. 

Speakers from the worlds of government, private enterprise, and technology vendors will speak at the conference, which will bring together people from all around Africa. 

For a long time, AfricaCom has been, in a sense, several conferences in one, covering a wide range of themes. Enterprise technology, digital infrastructure development, talent and skills development, and growing start-ups are all covered.
