Hello guys and welcome to another beautiful week. Trust you had a good rest over the weekend. As usual, the new week is bursting with lots of fun-filled events in the world of tech.
We have curated a list of some of these interesting events you should watch out for this week, so let’s dive in right away.
These events come up between October 18 and October 23, 2021.
Apple’s Big Unleashed Event
This week, the popular technology company, Apple Inc., will be hosting its Big Unleashed event. The iPhone maker is expected to announce some of its new product releases at the event.
The company revealed the iPhone 13 and iOS 15 at its first fall event in September, but at this second event, it plans to announce an upgrade to the MacBook Pro, a more powerful Mac Mini, and the rumoured AirPods 3.
The new MacBooks will likely be the highlight of the presentation. All indications point to the company announcing two new MacBook Pro models, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro devices. Apple’s latest Arm-based processor, the M1X, is expected to be used in upcoming devices.

Google Pixel Fall Launch
Big tech company, Google, plans to host its Pixel Fall Launch this week where it will be unveiling its final major flagship phone release of the year.
From the name of the event, Google has obviously made it clear that it will be unveiling its Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro smartphones at the event.
Users would expect the release of the Pixel 6, which will have a 6.4-inch display but with the same camera arrangement as the Pixel 5. The Pixel 6 Pro, on the other hand, will have a 6.71-inch display that also comes with a telephoto lens to complement its cameras.
There are speculations that Google might also be unveiling a 50MP sensor for its main cameras in the pixel smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021
Samsung plans to hold its surprise Galaxy unpacked event this week in what the company describes as an avenue to open up new experiences for self-expression through technology.
Samsung didn’t precisely say what it intends to reveal at the event which will be held online. At the previous Unpacked 2021 event, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Rumor has it that the company might be unveiling new colors for its Galaxy Z series smartphones. If this happens, it would be the first time Samsung is hosting another event for an existing product line.
The event can be streamed live on Samsung’s YouTube channel. The company also plans to live stream the event on its websites – and Samsung Newsroom.

TGIF Tech Connect
This week, Digital Skill School located in Lekki, Lagos plans to host its one of a kind event, which is tagged “TGIF Tech Connect.”
The event, with the theme: Empowering you for a Digital World, is expected to be a one-of-a-kind avenue where corporate tech companies, people in the tech creative industry, as well as anyone aspiring to be a techie or content creator can meet up and hang out with like-minded people.
The event is expected to host a wide number of people, including bloggers, web developers, content creators, photographers, video producers, designers, tech entrepreneurs, and all other tech enthusiasts present in Lagos.
The event is free for everyone.

Design central with Dapo Akintunde
Semi Colon Central will be hosting an event this week which it titled “Design Central with Dapo Akintunde.”
The host, Dapo Akintunde, a design industry leader, will be sharing his experiences and highlighting opportunities for early-career and senior designers.
The free event is expected to provide a hangout opportunity for new and aspiring designers to meet industry leaders, network, and share resources.
