All eyes will be fixed on the California streaming where Apple is expected to make a major announcement with regards to its new product releases. True to its ways, the company had already sent out invitations to this special event happening on Tuesday, September 14.

Here are some of the major tech events you should look out for this week. These events are scheduled to be held between September 13th and September 18th, 2021.

Propak West Africa Product Packaging Exhibition

The technology behind food processing and packaging is changing, and Propak West Africa aims to address some of them in a two-day event scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 14th.

In this 7th edition, Propak West Africa aims to bring like-minded people in the food industry together to discuss some of the most effective packaging and plastic product solutions. With this exhibition, the company hopes to introduce business owners to some of the best innovators of packaging materials and suppliers of packaging materials and ancillary machinery.

The company would welcome some senior representatives from a number of the industry’s leading brands and businesses. These individuals will unveil some of the best technological trends and offer advice to businesses and their managers that will help redefine how they package and distribute their products.

The Lagos Comic Conference

Tech Events this Week:

The 9th edition of the Lagos Comic Conference is expected to hold this Saturday. Themed “Lagos COMIC CON 2021,” the event will feature a mix of comics, animation, film, books, and gaming all in a single day.

The event is expected to become a destination for all gaming fans, book readers, art lovers, avid music listeners, and movie lovers from the whole of West Africa and beyond.

The single-day event coming up will also feature a variety of activities such as panel sessions, masterclasses, exhibitions, pitch competitions, award sessions and many others.

Key speakers at the Lagos Comic Conference will include Deyemi Okanlanwon, Muyiwa Awojide, Dr Sid, and Lanre Aileru. They will be having conversations on topics ranging from how to create appealing African stories, intellectual property protection for creators, film marketing masterclasses and others.

Growth Hacking by The Mushroom

This Saturday, The MushRoom is organising a conference that aims to create a conversation on ways to optimize processes for exponential growth.

The event, which will take place on Saturday the 18th of September at the Eko Innovation Center, aims to address how growth hacking has become important to stay relevant even as the African tech ecosystem continues to soar.

The MushRoom, through this conversation, will help industry leaders to engage, interact and share ideas on what has worked and influenced growth over the years. It will also provide a networking space to discuss how to optimize the growth processes.

The event is in partnership with the Eko Innovation Centre, Hazon Technologies, and Startup Lagos.
