Infinix partners Microsoft to launch INBook X1, its first Laptop series coming to Nigeria in June

Global consumer electronics company, Infinix has partnered with Microsoft and Intel to launch its first flagship laptop series, INBook X1 for top-notch performance.

Speaking at the unveiling of the new INBook X1, Managing Director of Infinix Mobility, Benjamin Jiang reiterated the company’s commitment to satisfying customers’ diverse digital needs.

Leveraging our deep understanding of consumers in the smartphone space, we are thrilled to enter a new era with Intel and Microsoft by launching our first laptop series. This not only marks a significant milestone for the brand, but also signifies our commitment to our global customers.

The INBook X1 is an absolute powerhouse of a laptop, with a 55 watt-hours (Wh) battery guaranteeing a full day’s usage and up to 11 hours of screen time for web browsing, video playbacks and more.

Already boasting a long standby time, the INBook X1 is enabled with Infinix’s Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS allows users to extend battery life by intelligently reducing power consumption in different scenarios.

The INBook X1 series combines a stylish and portable design with optimum performance. It comes with a lightweight aircraft-grade aluminium build, 16.3mm thick and weighing less than 1.48 kg.

Equipped with a 180-degree hinge that lets it tilt horizontally, the laptop allows users to share videos or present ideas in a flexible manner. The laptop also has multiple ports to simultaneously accommodate different needs, including speed charging, media transfer and screen-casting.

The INBook X1 series is currently available in both Space Grey and Platinum Red colours. In order to prevent overheating, it is powered by
Intel’s powerful processors that are able to handle demanding activities like data processing, video-gaming and programming. A Poloar Monster cooling system with military-grade air ducts is also integrated to effectively lower its temperature when faced with heavy workloads.

Through the INBook X1 series, Infinix aims to deliver a bespoke device with industry-leading capabilities to meet the growing demand of customer needs today.

INBook X1 will come in three versions: INBook Pro with Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7,  Intel Iris Plus up to 64EU.INBook X1 with Intel® Core™ i5-1005G1/i3-1035G1.

INBook X1 series is set to launch in Egypt, Indonesia & Nigeria in June with a starting price of $530 (N218,625).
