Cardano Africa 2021 – Blockchain comes of age

This Thursday, Input Output will be hosting a special event on Cardano in Africa.

Themed Blockchain has Come of Age, the event will focus on how Cardano – a decentralized blockchain/cryptocurrency project based on peer-reviewed research and the highly secure Haskell coding language is being used in Africa.

It will also explore how blockchain can be used to unlock opportunities for Africa’s youthful population.

PSP & Fintech Alliance 2021

This week, NetHost Nigeria will be hosting a webinar on Payment Service Providers and Fintech Alliance in Nigeria.

The event will focus on the growing landscape of financial technology and what it means to the financial ecosystem in the country.

It will also look at IT compliances and the payment system license framework of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Africa – The Next Digital Frontier

This Wednesday, the RackCentre in Collaboration with PwC Nigeria will hold a webinar with the theme: Africa: The Next Digital Frontier Compelling Economic Imperatives.

The event will include an overview of the macroeconomic trends and the investment landscape for internet/content infrastructure. There will also be a panel session on the drivers for current and future investment in Africa’s digital infrastructure.

The opening remark at the event is expected to be given by Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria. Other speakers include Andrew Nevin, Partner – West Africa Financial Services Leader and Chief Economist, PwC Nigeria and Kabir Chal, Director, Real Estate, Actis.

This week, MIT Center for International Studies (CIS) is partnering with the newly launched TRUE Africa University (TAU) to host a webinar series focused on various aspects of sustainable development in Africa.

The latest webinar will be on Venture capital, investing in African technology companies.
