Cashless Africa Webinar
This Thursday, CIO East Africa and Global Voice Group will be hosting a webinar to explore Africa’s race towards a cashless society, through the eyes of public and private sector actors across the continent.
Themed, “The Race Towards Cashless Africa” the session will bring together industry experts to analyze the growth of the mobile money ecosystem and the irruption of the digital money pioneers who are strongly minimizing the role of cash.
They will also discuss the challenges, opportunities and outlook of digital money in the continent while sharing their different experiences.
The event will host Bernard Ewah, DD, e-Government Development and Regulation NITDA and Andrew Mutua, Founder, CEO Pesakit amongst others.

Fintech Social Meetup and Launch of Census Mapping
On Friday, The Fintech Association of Nigeria in EY Africa will be launching the Fintech Census Mapping.
Later in the day, it will be hosting a social meetup tagged The making of Indigenous Fintech Unicorns.
The event will host Mr Gbenga Agboola, CEO Flutterwave and Mr Musa Itokpa Jimoh, Director of Payment Systems CBN amongst others.

Black in Tech Summit
This week, Capital Factory will be finally hosting its 3rd Annual Black In Tech Summit. This year it will be focusing on increasing diversity in the tech community and making the coworking space an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and identities.
The event will bring together serial entrepreneurs and investors and host insightful discussion sessions, a startup showcase pitch competition, epic office hours, and panels on relevant topics facing the tech ecosystem.
There will be a $100,000 Investment Challenge, where 6 -7 startups will pitch to prestigious judges made up of successful entrepreneurs, Baker Botts legal representatives, and DivInc leadership.
