Happy new month guys! Trust you had a great weekend. There are several interesting tech events across the global space you can attend this week. While most of the events are billed to hold virtually owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, others will hold physically.

Becoming Women in Tech
On Saturday, the Tech Interactive will be hosting a virtual event for girls. During the event, the girls will learn about what it takes to become a woman in tech.
They will also hear real life experiences of inspiring groups of women in science and technology – their career paths, persisting through challenges, and the world-changing projects they’re working on presently.

Hong Kong Fintech Week
This week, the fifth edition of Asia’s Global FinTech conference will be held virtually. The event will host over 25,000 attendees from over 70 economies.
There will be different categories of speakers focusing on several aspects of the fintech industry. There will also be thousands of meetings and several exhibitions.
The event will host some of China’s fintech giants and the leaders of the World’s Top Virtual Banks. Some of the speakers include Calvin Choi, Chairman and CEO AMTD Group, Bill Winters, Group CEO, Standard Chartered and Anne Richards, Fidelity International CEO.

Investing in Agrifood Tech
On Wednesday, VC firm, VANTEC will be hosting its 4th annual Agrifood investment forum virtually. During the forum, investors interested in Agrifood Tech will learn the latest trends and hear first hand experiences of vetted entrepreneurs.
The event will also include an investors meeting where investors meet some of the most promising seed stage companies in BC that have the potential to provide great returns for investors.
There will also be an Apply-to-Pitch session where Agtech, Foodtech and Biotech companies seeking seed or series A investment can apply for funds

Virtual Event Tech Live
This week, the world’s leading event technology expo will be held virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions. The expo will feature over 100 educational sessions and event tech demonstrations which you can select from using the events unique matchmaking software.
There will also be meetings with exhibitors and industry peers. As part of the conference, there will also be a competition for start-ups where the winner gets £5,000 worth of marketing campaign among others.
The event will host organisers, promoters, managers, venues, agencies and brands that are looking for fresh tech to take their events to the next level.

Ecosystem Experience
The Ecosystem Experience was organised by OVHcloud to allow for networking and knowledge sharing between global changemakers building the future of tech. The event will include sessions and keynote speeches that will reveal answers to technological and business challenges.
There will also be discussions about user experiences with solutions and services that respect freedom and fundamental rights.
