Europa League is Back

According to Nsubuga, StarTimes subscribers can look forward to the new Europa League season where big wigs like Arsenal and Tottenham will feature.

However, DStv will probably not show Europa league matches again next season after failing to broadcast it for a second consecutive season. For this concluding season, DStv had earlier told subscribers that it won’t be broadcasting Europa League matches in Nigeria and some other parts of Africa.

This means that the PayTV can leverage on Europa to gain a significant amount of subscribers in the coming year. Adding to the Europa League, the company will also show other European cups including Coppa Italia and the Spanish Copa del Rey.

In a boost to subscribers, Nsubuga revealed that users will be able to enjoy this rich and enhanced quality contents in the Startimes Classic and Basic bouquets without increasing price.
