Co-founders of Nigerian logistics startup, Kobo360, Obi Ozor and Ife Oyedele were among 10 high-impact entrepreneurs selected by Endeavor into its 96th cohort of entrepreneurs. The selections were made at its 3rd Virtual International Selection Panel (ISP).

In a tweet welcoming the duo into its network, Endeavor applauded the relentless focus of the Nigerian founders stressing that it was an inspiration to high-impact entrepreneurs everywhere.

Established in 2018, Kobo360 is a logistics platform that connects cargo owners to truck owners within minutes. The company handles the entire process from matching, visibility, invoicing, collection of waybills and payments while providing financing, insurance and discounted supplies to truck owners.

Kobo360 has expanded into Kenya, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Togo, delivering cargo for clients such as Unilever and DHL

3rd Virtual ISP

The latest cohort of entrepreneurs was selected by panellists after 3 days of rigorous virtual multi-step process. The panellists are tasked with identifying high-impact entrepreneurs who demonstrate the potential to leverage Endeavor’s resources and mentorship to create large-scale wealth and jobs.

Obi Ozor and Ife Oyedele were the only Africans selected into the cohort. Their selection follows the selection of Carbon’s Chijioke Dozie and Ngozi Dozie as Endeavor Entrepreneurs in October last year.

Endeavor now supports 2,069 entrepreneurs leading 1,290 companies in 37 markets around the world

Speaking on the selection process, Equifax International COO, Robin Moriarty, who served as a panellist revealed that Endeavour was raising the bar by leveraging technology

“Endeavor is raising the bar — with the companies being brought into the network, with the panelists participating in the selection process, and with the use of technology and virtual formats to forge ahead,”

Benefits of being an Endeavour Entrepreneur

As part of Endeavor’s network, Obi and Ife will gain access to comprehensive, strategic, global support services. They will also be introduced to local and international business mentors, investors, and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms who will help them address key needs.

Endeavor entrepreneurs have had a significant track record of social impact on their communities. In 2019, they generated $24+ billion in revenues and created more than 4 million jobs.

Kobo360 co-founders can leverage on Endeavours extensive resources to create more jobs and build a sustainable growth model for their company.

In Nigeria, the co-founders will be able to join the growing ranks of endeavour entrepreneurs in the country. With the addition of Obi and Ife, there are now 12 endeavour entrepreneurs in the country.
