Plentywaka is the first ride-hailing platform in Nigeria to suspend operation, following the breakout of the Covid-19 in the country

The startup apologized for the inconvenience the short notice of the suspension will create. It, however, added that it looks forward to resuming operations as the circumstance surrounding the virus improves.

This suspension comes just after the start-up announced that it has hit a major milestone by completing its 100,000th ride in just 6 months of operation.
