OPPO has finally launched its latest flagship smartphone devices, the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro today. The launch was initially billed to happen at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona but was rescheduled after the congress was cancelled over coronavirus fears. Both devices are 5G enabled.

The OPPO Find Series have always been OPPO’s most innovative product series yet. As such both devices were made with quite a lot to look forward to from the brand. According to OPPO’s Vice President Shen Yiren, they are some of the best smartphones in the world for the first half of 2020.

Both devices pack almost the same specs, but of course, the Pro variant has a few additional tricks up its casing to edge the OPPO Find X2.

Both devices come with a sleek and well-curved design. On the back is the three-camera setup that is arranged vertically in the top left corner. This is quite a contrast to the rotatable cameras deployed in the Find X.

Each device comes with 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440×3168 pixel) curved displays, and a small notch for the 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The screen comes with a very bright display with a 120Hz refresh rate known as Ultra Vision Screen which is also battery sensitive. Each device can show up to a billion colours.

With very good displays, the OPPO Find X2 and X2 Pro devices are packed with full-band stereo speakers supported with Dolby Atmos.

For the cameras, according to Shen, they were made with 2 sets of people in mind – the daily users and professional users. Although both devices have the 3 camera line up, the specs are quite different.
