Country Manager for Google, Juliet Ehimuan Becomes an Independent Non-Executive Director at Nestle Nigeria

Nestle Nigeria recently announced the appointment of Juliet Ehimuan as the independent Non-Executive Director for the organization in Nigeria.

This recent appointment comes even as Ehimuan continues to hold several top positions in other top companies. She is the Country Director for Google Nigeria. While holding that role, she also serves as the Regional Director for Google in West Africa.

Juliet Ehimuan got her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun state. Afterwards, she obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Engineering from Cambridge University. She went on to complete her MBA program at the London Business School.

    — Juliet Ehimuan (@jehimuan) February 17, 2020

Juliet is a morning person, and as she told Business Insider, she has a morning routine that helps her to do more than she ordinarily would. Based in Lagos and constantly facing traffic jams, Juliet has developed the habit of working and getting a lot done while she is in transit.

She worked as the Performance Monitoring and Quality Assurance Supervisor with Shell Petroleum Development Company from 1995 to 1997. She later joined Microsoft UK as the Program Manager. There she oversaw projects for MSN subsidiaries. She later became the Business Process Manager for MSN International.

Juliet Ehimuan Becomes Independent Non-Executive Director for Nestle Nigeria

Juliet founded her own business which she named Strategic Insight Consulting Ltd. And as she moved from one role to the other, she has credited her stellar performance to the support of her family.

“Some people give that impression but I’m by no means superwoman. The robust support from my family, in general, has made all the difference in being able to maintain balance and I think that is key when you’re raising a family.“

Juliet Ehimuan (In an interview with Today’s Woman)

In April 2011, she was appointed the Country Director for Google Nigeria. In addition to her role in Google and in her other ventures, she will contribute her expertise and experience from working in the tech space to Nestle Nigeria.

Being an independent non-Executive Director gives her the flexibility to handle her new role alongside her other roles. However, it also brings a new set of demands which, from past interviews, might structure around her productivity routine and support system.
