    Tech Events in Africa: Social Media Week Lagos, TC Townhall, and VivaTech Tour

    Hi there! Are you a startup, entrepreneur or tech enthusiast looking for gatherings where you can meet and network with like minds? You are in luck as we at Technext have curated a list of tech events for you this week.

    Social Media Week Lagos 2020

    The 8th edition of the Social Media Week Lagos will be held this week. The annual conference is considered as Africa’s largest tech and innovation event.

    The week-long event will focus on ideas, trends, insights, business practices and policies that leverage technology to transform industries and communities across Africa.

    Tech Startup Ecosystem 2020 Partners Introduction Conference

    The Startup Ecosystem partners introduction conference is the first annual event of the Durban Tech startup ecosystem.

    The event wants to provide a platform for players in the Durban startup ecosystem to present their yearly plans and goals. It is also where partners get the opportunity to partner with each other based on their programs, events and initiatives.

    Venue: Kwazulu Natal Film Commission, Durban, South Africa.

    VivaTech Tour

    As part of its efforts to take a deep dive into Africa’s booming tech scene, Viva Technology will be holding a meetup in Kenya this week.

    This meetup will enable it discuss challenges and opportunities for African startups and find the best way to build bridges between Africa, Europe and the rest of the planet.
