Nigerian bus-hailing service, PlentyWaka is partnering with online vehicle merchants, Cars 45, to provide vehicles for Nigerians who wish to invest in PlentyWaka’s business.

PlentyWaka

This partnership is part of the PlentyWaka Vehicle Partnership Scheme and is designed for Nigerians who wish to partner with the ride-hailing company but don’t have time, or can’t trust regular vehicle dealerships.

Thus, Cars 45 will come in as a tested and trusted platform for the partner to purchase and onboard his vehicle into the PlentyWaka system.

We reported last year that PlentyWaka has launched a partnership scheme to allow people invest in its transport business.

At the time of launching, the scheme had just two modes of partnership: the regular onboarding package and the vehicle lease financing package for people who can’t afford the full cost of a vehicle.

But the technology-driven ride-hailing company has introduced a new mode: the vehicle purchase with Cars 45. This mode targets people who don’t have the time or don’t have trusted vehicle dealers.

This package provides the opportunity to simply sign up (on Cars 45) to purchase a quality vehicle and the vehicle will be registered on the (PlentyWaka) platform. All the vehicles will remain the assets of its owners and will not belong to Plentywaka or its partners.

With the vehicle partnership scheme, investors who onboard their vehicles will get 70% of revenue generated every month while PlentyWaka keeps 30%.

“This Plentywaka partnership will introduce Nigerians to a new way of not only making money but also empowering their fellow citizens by creating multiple job opportunities for individuals with little or no source of income,” co-founder and MD, Johnny Enagwolor says.

The PlentyWaka Vehicle Partnership seems to be working as the company has expanded its services into new routes. The company attributes this capacity to the new vehicles onboarded into its system through the vehicle partnership scheme.

Presently, from its launch route between CMS and Ajah, PlentyWaka has extended its service to Abraham Adesanya and Awoyaya. The company has also launched the CMS to Eko Hotels route.

The platform also recently launched some cool new features. One of them is the Scan and Ride feature which replaces the old and tedious mode of checking with the Quick Response (QR) scan mode.
