OPPO continues to stake its claim in Nigeria

Public Relations Manager for Oppo Nigeria, Joseph Adeola, noted that these 2 devices have been honed for their functionalities and were improved based on feedback. So, they are well suited for the Nigerian market.

“Research went into this decision to serve products that meet the needs and expectations of Nigerians. We also weighed in feedback from users, media and even Nairaland,” Adeola said.

On her part, the Marketing Manager, OPPO Mobile Nigeria, Nengi Akinola noted that the brand is fast taking over the Nigeria market. In just about 7 months of launching in Nigeria, the smartphone maker is already in 24 states out of the 36 states in Nigeria.

This massive growth is evidently a result of the quality devices the brand is now known for. And with the launch of these 2 new products, OPPO is blurring the line between its mid-range and flagship products – bringing high-end functionalities to mid-range devices.

“We know that budget phones are very important to the Nigerian market, yet there’s a younger generation that is slightly more sophisticated than what we are used to in the Nigerian market. Those are the people we have made the A series 2020 for.”

Nengi Akinola, Marketing Manager, Oppo Nigeria.

OPPO says it is committed to the Nigerian market and it will continue to bring cutting-edge smartphone technologies to the market.
