SA Innovation Summit

Nigeria Com

Nigeria Com brings together leaders in the digital space who want to bring low cost broadband connectivity and new digital services to the people and businesses of Nigeria.

The two day conference gets to the heart of how infrastructure and software developments, across the various sectors will lead to economic development and social empowerment in Nigeria.

Demo Day: Land Accelerator 2019

A startup bootcamp for entrepreneurs in sustainable agriculture and forestry, the Land Accelerator 2019 will feature startups who will make brief pitches about their companies and will be available to answer questions.

These startups – 14 were chosen from 335 applications across 8 countries – will all be pitching for the first position. Startups that graduated in December have raised capital and scaled their ventures.

Venue: iHub, Nairobi Kenya.

Date: Thursday, September 12, 2019.

Time: 3 pm (WAT).

The Security Demo Conference

An event for entrepreneurs, regulatory agencies, civil society organisations and developers, the Security Demo is Co-Creation Hub’s first cybersecurity conference. The event is aimed at highlighting the need for businesses, civil societies and government institutions to treat security as a priority.

It will feature a live cyber-attack demo by hackers, who will be showcasing trending attacks like Business Email Compromise, Advanced Phishing Techniques, Ransomware, Bypassing 2-Step Verification on Payment Platforms, and a host of other demonstrations. It will also feature panel discussions and talks at the intersection of digital security, business, data, and policy.

The Lagos Blockchain Conference (LBC)

The Lagos Blockchain Conference (LBC) is geared at bringing Lagos up to speed with the decentralized world of blockchain technology. With an aim to tap into the thriving global network, the event is for blockchain enthusiasts.

It will focus on key areas of the decentralised economy including digital currency, interoperability, DAG and advertising on the Mas-chains.
