Hi everyone. I trust we all had a great weekend. Well, it is that time of the week when we at Technext bring you a curated list of tech events happening around you this week. This includes events coming up between August 12 and August 17, 2019.

Kokútana 2019

Kokutana means “to meet” in Lingala, one of the Congo’s popular languages. And this annual event by Dakar based digital business school Volkeno is geared at discussing Senegal’s technological environment.

The event will bring together Senegal’s tech industry stakeholders and help to showcase innovations by various young techies while allowing investors to participate.

Oracode 3.0

A two week project-based learning on application development in Java, Oracle Database, Data Science, the Oracode 3.0 is for undergraduates who are technology enthusiast in Nigeria.

Powered by Oracle Academy, attendees will be taught how to build solutions for real-life scenarios.

Venue: The Workplace Centre, Awolowo Way, Ikoyi, Lagos.

20th CFA’s Startups Hangout

Currently in its 19th edition, CFA’s Startups Hangout will focus on how to reposition startups to succeed. The event organised by media platform, CFAtech, is a monthly ecosystem for startups and entrepreneurs to come together, network, and learn.

This edition would be featuring Femi Adeoti, CEO, Inlaks.
