African Achievers Awards Honours Fintech Company VoguePay as 2019’s African Online Payment Platform of the Year
African Achievers Awards a Global Pan-African event that recognizes individuals and firms for their contribution to development on the continent has named VoguePay the 2019 African Online Payment Platform of the Year.
VoguePay has made big contributions to the growth of the Fintech industry in Africa since it opened for business. It was set up with the aim of making online and cross-currency payments safer for businesses, traders and consumers. In less than a decade, VoguePay has grown into an online platform revolutionising the African payment system.
VoguePay, with a growing client base across five continents (Africa, North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia) is not new to accolades and awards as the company’s efforts haven’t gone unnoticed.
In 2016, VoguePay won the African Achievers’ Best Online Payment in Africa award and “best emerging online payment platform” at the African Information Technology and Telecom Awards 2016 in Ghana. Also in 2017, they were awarded Best Fintech Start-up Award at the sixth edition of the Cashless Africa Award 2017 presented by Mobile Money Africa. And in December last year, they were recognized as the global leading premium online payment solution provider at the World Quality Day.
Over the years since its creation, VoguePay has been involved in varying types of collaboration. Most highlighted of this is the blockchain-based action and information portal for crime control ‘interPort’ they developed in collaboration with Interpol.
The result-evident growth of the Fintech continues to put a spotlight on them, as is obvious from the size of their award chest.
