Co-creation Hub has invested an undisclosed amount in DrugStoc, a Nigerian based drug procurement platform from its Growth Capital Fund.

DrugStoc is the latest in a line of health tech companies like NIMCURE, LifeBank and Health Meets Tech to receive investment from CcHUB. DrugStoc operates as a go-to drug procurement platform that enhances the purchasing experience of customers, hospitals and pharmacies.

Established in 2015 by Adham Yehia, DrugStoc provides access to genuine pharmaceutical and health care products for over 3000 doctors and pharmacists. DrugStoc prides itself with the seamless transitioning of pharmaceutical and health care products from credible sources for all medication and consumables their clients need.

Recently awarded the 2019 award for Technology-Driven Distributor Company of the Year and ISO 9001-2015 certificate, DrugStoc is well on the way in solidifying their reputation as the top dog in the healthcare procurement sector in Nigeria.

In line with the company’s desire to improve and safeguard lives, DrugStoc prioritizes utilising internationally accredited benchmarks and standards for all their procurements. They also adopt improved proprietary technology aimed at solidifying its zero tolerance for fake drugs.

DrugStoc’s efforts towards eradicating sales and distribution of fake and sub-standard drugs can be admired. A reduction in the layers of middlemen required to handle drugs and advanced technology employed to buster security makes strong the belief that the menace caused by fake drugs in Africa can be curbed.
