After almost two years since the last Phantom 8 was launched in Nigeria, TECNO might be gearing to launch its next Phantom smartphone soon in Nigeria. There have been speculations in the media that the Phantom Series has been discontinued because for two years now, TECNO did not release a successor to the Phantom 8.
However, a leak from one of Nigeria’s top tech YouTubers, Eric Okafor who posted the camera samples from an upcoming Phantom has shown that indeed, the tech giant will be launching its next Phantom soon.
The YouTuber posted pictures showing the camera prowess of the device, which according to him is capable of taking breathtaking wide-angle photos.
A check on TECNO’s official page equally shows a teaser of an upcoming phone, which according to an inner source is rumoured to be the Phantom 9. The TECNO Phantom series is TECNO’s most premium smartphone brand and is targeted at the middle class and upwardly mobile.
From the rare images available, it’s clear that the Phantom 9 will be a looker with its exquisite Aurora design, a true breakthrough in smartphone design. Other rumoured specs of the Phantom are four rear cameras and Android 9.0 pie that will run on the latest HiOS interphase.
While we are excited about the launch of TECNO Phantom smartphone, the question remains – how soon is the launch?
