Let’s Make and Code Hardware Makerspace

Let’s Make and Code Hardware is a meetup for developers and enthusiasts to share hacks. They will also share developments in hardware, electronics and IoT as well as promote engineering and build a community of coders. New tools in electronics, embedded system, radio communications and internet of things are going to be discussed by attendees.

Attendees would also get to share ideas on electronics designs and manufacturing.

Startup Nigeria 2019 Info Session

Entrepreneurs are hereby invited for the Startup Nigeria 2.0 info session. Startup Nigeria offers training, mentorship and equity free funding of up to 2 million naira to Idea and early-stage startups.

Now, this info session is specifically to help entrepreneurs and startup owners apply, answer any questions they might have and learn more about the programme.

National Hackathon Series 1.0: Energy Edition

The National Hackathon Series is a platform geared at National cohesion and integration. In its third series, this edition would bring together young individuals including tech experts and enthusiasts, social activists, creative artists and community youth leaders across Nigeria to conceptualize, design, process and document technical solutions to local problems.

This edition will focus on combining our community’s energy (skills and resources) and the power of technology, to develop technology solutions to SDG 4: Inclusive & Equitable Quality Education.

Venue: Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Abuja.

Date: Thursday, May 30 – Saturday, June 1, 2019.

Epic Hour: May Edition

An event for the Lagos tech community to learn and network, Epic Hour brings individuals with specific knowledge of the industry to speak to participants.

And for this May edition, Epic Hour is bringing Segun Adeyemi, the Managing Partner at Pilot Partners. He will be speaking on the topic “Thoughts and Discussions on Exit Strategies for Nigerian Startups”.

TechPoint Inspired 2019

Techpoint Inspired 2019, geared to be West Africa’s largest tech conference is set to hold this week. Currently in its 3rd edition, the event will feature keynote sessions and then breakout into focused workshops.

These workshops will be centred around the Future of Work, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain and Cryptocurrency.
