Hackathon and IBM DN/A

Organised for programmers and business analysts, the hackathon event revolves around Fintech, Artificial Intelligence and Web Programming.

Powered by Harmony Innovation hub, there will be provision for hostel accommodation and feeding allowance for participants for the duration of the hackathon. The top 3 winners will receive cash prizes. The event would also have a training on IBM Digital Nation Africa.

Venue: Harmony Innovation Hub, Abuja.

AR/VR Meetup

This is a meetup organised by Imisi 3D for VR and AR enthusiasts and developers to meet each other, learn and have fun. With this concept, Imisi is aiming at building a community of extended reality content creators and innovators in Nigeria.

Raspberry Jam Lagos

Tagged “Computing with the Raspberry Pi”, the event is geared at providing
a one day free hands-on workshop for coding. Open to Nigerian female techies, it hopes to empower and inspire young women to be the next generation of digital creators, innovators, change-makers, and entrepreneurs.

Organised by She_pi initiative, it aims to build and train a community of young women to explore the potential of the Raspberry Pi – electronic hardware, the software and its applications.

Venue: NG HUB, Yaba, Lagos.

Date: Saturday, 16 March 2019.

Time: 10 am.

Innovation Series: Exponential Technology for Impact

‘Exponential Technology for Impact’ is the first event in the ‘Innovation Series’ curated by SingularityU Lagos. The event would involve a series of discussions on how exponential technologies – VR/AR, AI, machine learning, blockchain, cryptocurrency, robotics, are improving our lives.

The goal of the series is to foster impactful discussions and drive innovations in areas such as energy, education, healthcare, finance, and food. The event will also shine a light on specific technological advances making waves globally.
