It is a new week and as usual it is loaded with events you don’t want to miss. To that effect, we at Technext have curated a list of tech events that will interest you. This compilation includes events coming up between February 11th and February 16th, 2018.

GSC2019: Skill Up with Modern Tech Skills

The GirlsSlayCode (GSC) is a program designed by Tech4her Africa in partnership with American Corner-CCHUB. This event is part of its aim to increase access of women and girls to technology tools, skills and mentoring leading to economic prosperity.

Together with its resource partners Google, Microsoft, IBM, MEST Africa, Inspiriasoft, Tech4Her Africa is offering this training to equip attendees with the right resources to brush up their coding skills.

Venue: American Corner CCHUB, Yaba, Lagos.

Date: Thursday, February 14 – Friday, February 15th 2019.

Time: 9 am.

Product Showcase

Organised by Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB), the Product Showcase event brings innovation closer to the people. Founder and Lead Developer of Vetropay, Olamigoke Philip would be making a presentation at this edition.

Olamigoke’s startup is an electronic wallet that allows a smoother and faster funds transfer among users. It also links up bank accounts and payment cards for easier bank wallet transactions. It will be showcased and reviewed by attendees at the programme.

Android Cell Approach

The Android Cell Approach is a Study group focused on creating a community of resourceful mobile experts. They aim to make an impact in the Mobile app development space with Technologies such as Kotlin, Flutter and Native Java.

The group’s sessions are designed to enable mobile app development enthusiasts level up their skills using emerging technologies.

Venue: Intelia, Lagos.

Date: Saturday, February 16, 2019.
