This AI-Powered Technology Allows You Ask PDP’s Atiku Abubakar Any Question and Receive Instant Video Response

The 2019 Presidential Elections is just a few days away, and the various campaign teams are racking their heads trying to sway voters. One campaign team has gone a step further to develop an interesting social engagement tool.

Thanks to the young Nigerians on my team who developed this Artificial Intelligence concept, you have a chance to ask me a range of questions and hear my answers, click the link below. #AskAtikuYourselfhttps://t.co/R7SL1PX9Hr

    — Atiku Abubakar (@atiku) February 5, 2019

The Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Team has developed a video engagement tool powered by artificial intelligence.

Recently released, the new engagement tool gives the electorates a chance to ask Atiku Abubakar their interesting questions.

    That seems quite innovative.

    How it works

Using a video of the presidential hopeful, the AI feature allows anyone select a list of pre-selected questions they would like Atiku to answer. The questions display as a checklist selection, and you are expected to select one question at a time.

This AI-Powered Video Technology Allows You Ask PDP's Atiku Abubakar Any Question!

Using predictive touch technology, the AI knows what question you have selected and plays the right video with the answers. And right there, within the video, the presidential candidate does the honours and responds aptly to all of the questions.

    Nice right?

    Smooth Efficiency

Interestingly, the video doesn’t give much slight break as though it is pre-recorded. As a matter of fact, the way it loads, it feels like the user is having a live interview with Atiku.

This AI-Powered Video Technology Allows You Ask PDP's Atiku Abubakar Any Question!

    Expansive pool of questions

Now of course, the video is not real time, and the pre-selected nature of the questions reduces the pool of questions you can ask. However, the questions are fairly expansive enough. They are drawn from a host of areas from politics to Atiku’s personal life and even questions about his favourite football team, something we all know.

    In the end

It’s not the most powerful form of voter engagement, but it’s an interesting one. And it will be nice to see more uses for this sort of video AI technology.

You can try it out here.
