Social Media Week Lagos 2019
Touted to be Africa’s largest digital media and tech event, Social Media Week Lagos heads into its 7th year. The week-long event focuses on ideas, trends, insights, business practices and policies that leverage technology to transform industries and communities across Africa.
The last edition (2018) had over 20,000 attendees across the week and had an online social reach of 646 million. This year the event would also be featuring industry stakeholders speaking on various topics.

MEST X OOLLP Creative and Innovative Workshop
This event is an interactive session on legal and business best practices for innovators and creatives. Organised by MEST Incubator Lagos in partnership with DLA Piper Africa Affiliate, Olajide Oyewole LLP, attendees would get to understand how legal practices impact their business in the innovation and creative spheres.

Startup World Cup (Nigeria Regional)
Startup World Cup (SWC) offers innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities for startups around the world. Selected startups would compete at regional events. The winners will head to the Grand Finale in San Francisco and compete for a US$1million investment prize.
Selected startups would be pitching to a panel of judges. One winner will be selected to represent Nigeria at the grand finale next year.
Venue: Civic Hive, Yaba, Lagos.
Date: Saturday, February 9th, 2019.
Time: 10 am.

Rave With forLoop
A FinTech workshop organised by Flutterwave, the event is aimed at helping developers learn everything they need to know about Rave by Flutterwave.
Attendees would also get the needed knowledge on how to make money from Rave.
