Banky W shocks Social Media, As He Announces Interest In Politics.
During the week, Banky W made an announcement that shook social media. The popular musician officially joined Nigerians politics and will be running for the Federal House of Representative under Modern Democratic Party. According to the EME boss, he has decided to take the bold step that Nigerian youths have been clamouring for.

MTN Takes over Simfy Streaming Service
Africa’s biggest telecom conglomerate, MTN Group, in an effort to intensify its digital quest, recently acquired South African Streaming Service Simfy Africa. This is by far MTN’s loudest effort to become a strong player in the digital world.

Presently, Simfy’s service is available only in South Africa. But with this acquisition, MTN says it will make Simfy available across Africa and the Middle East, two regions its telecom service operates. Congratulations to MTN.

Terragon continues to disrupt the data analytics space in Nigeria with a revenue of $4 to 5 million. This shows that despite the tight digital advertising space, Terragon obviously has a foothold in the industry.
