The contest recognizes the developers who are leading innovations in the world of AI development and helping to accelerate Microsoft AI adoption/innovation and as such designed to be a platform for participants of the AI community to freely share AI models and applications, so they are reusable and easily accessible.
The challenge is not restrained as it is looking for AI solutions across all use areas. All Individuals or teams are required to do is – register and submit your entry; submit a working AI model, test dataset, any demo app and a demo video (max. 3 minutes long) to qualify for the competition. These ideas would then go through a detailed review by the contest’s judges and would be judged based on three parameters – originality; feasibility; and complexity to implement.

The top three ideas will be chosen after about 14 days of closure, and each would receive plus an opportunity to present the idea with Microsoft on AI Lab. These prizes are:
- First prize: A 15-inch Surface Book,
- Second Prize: A DJI Drone Mavic Pro Bundle, and
- the Third Prize: An Xbox One.
