The hackathon is a new chapter in the organization’s journey. According to TEENNATION, #iHackAfrica2018 is a 48-hour rapid prototyping hackathon where teenagers with ideas and teen programmers collaborate to build working prototypes of web and mobile apps that improve quality of life and solve social problems.
Teenagers who have can develop these ideas and are skilled in IT are also encouraged to take part in the event. Basically, skills such as web and mobile development skills as well as UI/UX knowledge are needed.
Of course, winners of the hackathon would win some prizes, however, none has been disclosed yet. The event is scheduled to hold in Lagos at Meadow Hall Alma Beach Estate, Meadow Hall Way, Lekki. Interestingly, the hackathon holds right about the same time as TEENNATION’s Teen General Assembly (TGA).
