Meet Babatope Dare, the New Executive Director of Inlaks

Sub-Saharan Africa’s leading systems integrator, Inlaks, has appointed Babatope Dare as the Executive Director of its company.

Tope Dare is one the principal drivers of the Digital Business and Strategy practice of Inlaks with vast competencies and proficiency in sales and services have been a game changer in the organization’s financial and people performance matrix. Upon his appointment, Dare would oversee the sales, services (technical support), software development and R&D of the Business Unit with a workforce of more than two hundred (200) at Inlaks.

Dare has a First degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and Action Learning MBA at Business School Netherlands with a distinction in his final dissertation. He has also attended management courses at several notable schools including Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania with a recently completed Fintech certificate course at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.

With vast experience and an IT resource person in the banking sector, which includes 11 years (1999 – 2010) of service in the Nigerian financial industry  (Oceanic bank now Ecobank bank to be precise), Dare was previously the acting executive director of the Infrastructure Business Unit, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy of the Infrastructure and e-Banking Business Division, while also serving as the Director for Sales and Strategy.

Prior to his appointment as an Executive Director at Inlaks, he was the Sales & Marketing Manager at NCR; the American global leader in the vast self-service industries, where he was responsible for all direct and indirect sales of NCR’s solution portfolios in Nigeria between June, 2010 and December, 2012 with he has a proven track record of success.

Speaking on the Dare’s recent appointment as Executive Director, Femi Adeoti, Managing Director/CEO Africa Operations of Inlaks, said, “Tope is a seasoned professional who has displayed competence and leadership since joining the firm. His unique skills set based on his experience and competencies has added a lot of value to our business in recent years. Tope has also been responsible for leading key strategic programs that deepen efficiencies and drive growth.”
