We all love games – and with the widespread of smartphones, spending hours on mobile games have become the order of the day. And considering the religious consciousness of Africans, having a game that combines both religion and fun would be awesome. That’s why “Anointed: Chronicles of Laftu” is the game for you.

Created by Yinola Ltd, Anointed is a free and interactive mobile game based on the challenges of Laftu, an African Christian boy who discovers the amazing powers contained in the pages of the bible, and uses his newly found authority to conquer all the challenges confronting his African community.

How it Works

Anointed is a bright-coloured game with captivating sounds, making it suitable for all ages. While playing the game, the user puts on the whole armour of God and stands to fight against evil as Latfu. It involves embarking on an adventure that involves using some set of special powers contained in the Holy Bible to destroy evil characters such as poverty, disease, terror and many others.

Aside tap-shooting enemies with the Bible words that shows as bright yellow light, the game also comes with special effects and gears such as; the Shield of Faith and Belt of Truth, the privilege of summoning angels and responding with boosters like Firestorm, Thunderstrike and Holeblock. And just like every other adventure game, Anointed offers users fun ways for playing like Target Score, Timed Levels, No misses as well as multiples levels with each getting tougher as the user progresses.

One thing that makes Anointed unique is the way it combines adventure with Christian accolades in a fun and informational way without imposing the religion on users. It rather focuses on completing the tasks which makes it suitable for even non-Christians.

Also as a plus, players can compete online with friends and family to see who has more points on the leaderboard. “Anointed: Chronicles of Latfu” is available on all platforms (Google Playstore, iOS). With an app rating of 4.9, Anointing runs on Android 4.1 and other latest version of the Android operating system.
