The first strategy to use is to get a good selection of keywords that people will likely use while searching online for the service or product you are offering. For example, if the name of your company is XYZ but the service you render is ABC, always ensure your keywords are related to ABC not XYZ because people search the internet for the services they require.

2. Use Google Analytics
As a beginner, Google Analytics or any other tool that provides you with back end data should be your best friend. They help you structure your page correctly because they give you feedback on traffic, keywords, sources for incoming traffic, new or unique visitor conversion and so many other metrics.

Also, your meta tags should be optimized with the keywords you have researched for and ensure they are relevant. Always note that page titles can have the biggest SEO impact, however, the meta description acts as the description for the content on your page. Your title should grab people’s attention but your meta description should help convince them to click.

Don’t use file names like image4.jpg, picture1.jpg. Instead, use your keywords that are related to your business, product or service.
