Microsoft Updates Windows 10 with New Features that Let’s You Do More

If you are one of those who always complain about the constant Windows 10 updates, your complaints are valid. However, it’s important to note that the major updates on the operating systems are geared towards making it serve you better with more features.

Microsoft is giving you back your time with the April Windows 10 update. The updates which have been under testing for months is arriving April 30, 2018. It was previously code-named “Spring Creators Update” according to earlier leaks, but will now be simply known as “Windows 10 April Update“.

The #Windows10 April 2018 Update is coming soon. See how it will help you make the most of your time: https://t.co/ZGT7dbsxN2 pic.twitter.com/49G0C27h2O

    April’s Update New Features
    Timeline

With Timeline, your Windows 10 lets you go back in time up to 30 days to find your stuff, whether you were working on it earlier today, last week, or a few weeks ago. It is accessible by pressing Win+Tab and replaces the old Task View with a mode that let’s you see the apps and documents you’ve used in chronological order.

It makes it easy to resume work on an old project by resuming a previous array of Windows without having to recall the name of every single file. Moreover, you can even resume work you’ve been doing on mobile devices, assuming you’ve been using Microsoft apps like Edge and Office if signed into your account.

    Focus Assist

Focus Assist helps you stay in focus. When turned on Focus Assist helps you get things done without distractions, a lot of information fighting for your attention on the internet and sometimes they get you distracted from your main activities and making you spend much time on one activity focus assist replaces the previous quiet mode. Once turned off you will receive a summary of the notifications missed while it was turned on.

It’ll be available as a free download starting Mondayhttps://t.co/ynmYn3s2SR

    Dictation

The improve dictation feature makes it easier than ever to take a note or write a paper, with just your voice. With your cursor in any text field either in Windows 10 or in an app, all you need to do is to press Win+H and start talking. It allows you to quickly capture any thought when your hands are occupied so you don’t forget.

    Microsoft Edge Updates

Microsoft Edge is lots of interesting new of features, you can now mute tabs. PDFs, books by clicking the audio icon and Reading view now work in full screen, and instead of always retyping your payment details you can save now on your browser and auto fill whenever you need it.

The latest update with Microsoft voice assistant Cortana enabled on your Windows 10 PC, now let’s you manage your smart home right from your PC using just your voice.
