Have you ever desired to learn how to code, but wasn’t sure where to begin? Well, Google’s new app is the solution you’ve been searching for.

Google has launched Grasshopper, an app that includes a series of puzzle games to teach adults how to specifically code JavaScript.

Launched from Google’s experimental project, Area 120 incubator, Grasshopper easily breaks down the basic concepts behind JavaScript, such as functions and variables, into bit-sized lessons that you can complete in just a few minutes.

Like some of the coding apps available, Grasshopper uses the games concept with mini-puzzles coding lessons. After learning one concept, your next lesson builds on it and slowly adds new elements. As you continue, each concept gets progressively more complicated.

Interestingly, the app allows you to return each day for a new lesson so you can build your skills up.

Of course, the app doesn’t take the place of actually sitting at your computer and practicing coding. But with Grasshopper’s puzzle-like lessons, who knows, you might get motivated to start.

The app is available on iOS and Android.
