#BlueLab: Stanbic IBTC Bank Launches New Innovation Hub in Yaba, Lagos

According to a report by Techneconomy, the new hub is located at the Stanbic IBTC Bank branch located at 220, Herbert Macaulay Way, Alagomeji-Yaba, Lagos.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive, Demole Sogunle, disclosed that the new initiative has been necessitated by the innovative changes in the industry in the last 10 years which has been more than those which have been seen in the last 100 years.

“As a member of the Standard Bank group with over 154 years of existence, it is clear that we are here for the long term. We are on a marathon, not a sprint. And we understand the importance of Innovation in sustaining the tempo that is required to remain in business”, he concluded.

The CEO was noted to have said that the Blue Lab will serve as an incubator for your young thinkers with great ideas and nurture the ideas that will re-write the future.

#BlueLab hub has a general working space, a multifunctional arena, meeting rooms, a customer experience space, ideas arena, a kitchen, and offers a free wi-fi service.
