We live in a society where your business is ‘our’ business. It is often the case that you bring out your phone or laptop in a public space and the person behind or beside you makes it a point to check out what you are doing. You may even try to bend your screen to keep the intruder away but some people are just plain nosy and keep at it.

You no longer have to worry about this. The HP Specter x360 comes with an integrated privacy screen that allows you keep out shoulder surfers.

The HP Specter x360 is a convertible 13.3 inch touch laptop that can be rotated into various positions including a full on tablet. It has an eighth generation Intel core processor, 1 TB hard disk, up to 16gb memory, a Windows Ink Certified pen, up to 4k high resolution display, battery life up to 16.5 hours. Its most exciting feature, however, is the integrated privacy screen.

How does the privacy screen work?

With just the touch of a button, prying eyes are kept at bay. The F2 button on the keyboard whitens out the screen instantly, shielding the display from anyone outside the user’s 70 degree viewing cone.

What the privacy screen really does is to make the display appear lighter in contrast by reducing 95 percent of visible light when viewed at an angle making it near impossible for prying eyes to read what is on the laptop screen.

This allows users work confidently from any location without worrying about prying eyes.
