Austin Okere, the founder, CWG Plc, will be delivering the keynote address at the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Nigeria) Internal Audit Leaders & Executives Summit in Lagos. The event is billed to hold tomorrow, November 14th, 2017, In Lagos.
Mr Okere will be speaking on the topic “Issues and challenges for the Chief Audit Executives in the 21st Century”. Recall that he recently kicked off the 12th Global Business School Network (GBSN) Conference with a keynote interview with the World Bank’s Chief Economist and Senior Vice President, Paul Romer at the Kogod School of Business at the American University, Washington DC on November 01, 2017.

The IIA Nigeria, a non-profit professional association is an affiliate of IIA Global (www.globaliia.org) with headquarters in Florida, USA. The IIA is the creator and custodian of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, and the Code of Ethics.

Austin Okere is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Columbia Business School, where he received special commendation for his mentorship role in innovation and entrepreneurship. He was recognized with a Lifetime Entrepreneurship Achievement Award by the American University of Nigeria in 2017 for his dedicated service and outstanding entrepreneurial accomplishments.
Austin received the Nigerian Computer Society Special Presidential Award in 2016 and was named ICT Personality of the year by the Society in 2014. He was also named ICT Man of the Decade by ICT Watch Africa Digital Network in 2012 and was listed on the United Kingdom C.Hub Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Creatives in 2016.
