The founder of CWG Plc, Austin Okere will be speaking today at the September 2017 edition of CFA’s Startups Hangout which is billed to hold today, Friday, September 22, 2017, at the Adna Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos by 5:00pm.
Mr Okere will be speaking alongside Mrs Banke Alawaye, the Country Manager, Praekelt. Both speakers will be sharing their experiences as entrepreneurs with participants. According to the organizers, discussions will centre around their challenges and the solutions adopted while they were growing their businesses.
The event will offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to connect with other startups and entrepreneurs, learn from successful entrepreneurs who have been there and find practical ways to deepen the ecosystem and work to make it more sustainable.

Austin Okere is an entrepreneurship enthusiast. He is focused on mentoring and inspiring young people around the globe to achieve their full potential. He is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Columbia Business School (CBS), New York and a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Innovation and Intrapreneurship. Austin Okere also serves on the Advisory Board of the Global Business School Network (GBSN), a body dedicated to advancing the cause of knowledge sharing to inspire and transform business education across the globe.
Banke Alawaye is the Country Director, Praekelt. Banke holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School. Her experience spans investment banking, software development, management consulting and general management.
