Be Happy! iPhone 8 Release Date Maybe Be September 12.

Apple’s annual event is rumoured to be slated for Tuesday, September 12, 2017, all though based on past experiences, things could change at the last minute. This event, whose date was arrived at, based on the previous dates, and the company’s usual dates within the ninth month, is expected to be a huge one where different products will be launched.

With its astounding growth in net worth (from $750 billion on March 21 to $830 billion on August 1), Apple Inc has obviously had an interesting year, with new iPads, new Macs, and the HomePod. In March alone, the company showed off its new watch bands, a new iPad tablet, special (Red) edition of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7Plus which was introduced to support the fight against HIV/AIDS, and a new Clips app, but there are rumoured predictions for the firm.

Known to always have something up its sleeves, this year’s event is one of the most looked-forward-to-events of the year, made more so by the fact that this year marks the 10^th year of the launch of the iPhone, which makes  up about 70% of the sales of Apple Inc. An iPhone 8 or iPhone X is expected to be unveiled at the event.

As speculations are made about the features of the expected iPhone to be unveiled, Nigerians are definitely also interested. Africa is the fastest growing mobile phone market, with Nigeria being the 2^nd largest market in the continent, and predictions by experts say Nigeria is expected to kick South Africa off the number 1 spot by 2020.

In the height of this recession, when the dollar to Naira ration was 1:495, Nigerians still got the iPhone7, and we doubt it will be any different now. The iphone 7 sold within the prices of N318,010 to N420,255, and we are wondering what the prices of the expected iPhone will be, with its rumoured specs to include: no home buttons, wireless charging, and facial recognition charging.

Nigeria, as one of the major users of the internet, and the second largest market for mobile phones in Africa. We should be forefront in technological knowledge and inventions, but that is not the case, and we can but wonder.

Apple’s event is bound to unveil products which will move the world into another level of technology, and Nigeria should be prepared to tag along.
